In the heart of Providence, a chilling scene unfolds, a couple's life snuffed out in a botched burglary, their final memories flickering like a dying light. The heart of the deceased husband finds a new home in Terry Bernard, a single father braving the storm of his daughter’s rare degenerative condition. But with the gift of life comes a haunting echo, as Terry begins to experience vivid snapshots of the deceased man's final moments. Suddenly, Terry spots a face from these memories in the real world - one of the culprits involved in the fatal robbery. Drawn into a labyrinth of danger, he becomes an unintentional crusader for justice, pursued by a tenacious police detective. Amidst this turmoil, Terry starts an unexpected romance with his daughter’s doctor, a relationship complicated by the barrage of alien memories. As Terry's world continues to blur, he finds himself enveloped in a disturbing mind-body conundrum, the deceased donor's presence growing stronger within him.
