In the sun-scorched fields of South Texas, Javi (Patrick Mackie) toils alongside his ailing grandfather Arturo (Hector Uribe, No Country For Old Men), bound by blood and the land they cultivate together. Beneath the veneer of this simple life, Javi harbors a secret dream - to escape this dusty corner of the world with his Mexican love, Lorena (Mayra Leal, Machete).
