Ravi Rajput, a humble mill worker, hails from an economically challenged background. Despite his hardships, Ravi's life beams with joy and pride as he watches his son, Gaurav, grow. Born to Ravi and his loving wife, Saru, Gaurav is a delightfully mischievous boy, often faking sickness to enjoy World Cup Cricket at home. The seemingly ordinary world of the Rajput family crumbles when Gaurav collapses during a cricket match, revealing a life-threatening heart condition.
The nearest Bandra hospital becomes their only hope, with the stern Doctors Nita and Sen offering a lifeline: a heart transplant costing 15 lakh rupees. The transplant, an unaffordable luxury for the Rajputs, becomes a desperate quest for Ravi. His pleas fall on deaf ears as his insurance company refuses policy renewal and his long-term employer can only offer a meager sum of Rs. 75,000/-.
With time against them and the hospital threatening to discharge their dying son, Ravi takes a drastic step. In a desperate bid, he holds 30 innocent people hostage at the hospital, demanding his son's surgery. The situation escalates, attracting the attention of DCP Rane, who is ordered to kill Ravi and end the hostage situation.
Just as Ravi's hope begins to falter, he is informed that Gaurav's operation will commence. Relieved, he releases the hostages, only to discover a heart-wrenching truth. The hospital's operating room is not preparing for Gaurav's surgery, but for the elderly politician and ruling party president, Narayan Swami. Watch as Ravi's world spirals once again, igniting his determination to go to any lengths for his son's survival.
