Plot

In the heart-stirring sequel to Tarzan, the Ape Man, we return to the lush jungles of Africa, where a grand ivory expedition is taking shape under the leadership of Harry Holt. Holt, previously acquainted with the jungle's king and his queen, carries not only the dream of ivory riches but also a vain hope of persuading Jane to abandon her wild paradise for London's structured confines. Accompanying him is the debonair Marlin Arlington, a man known for his womanizing tendencies and unswerving determination to unearth the elephant burial grounds' ivory treasures. In the heart of the jungle, Tarzan and Jane are living a life of harmonious bliss amongst the trees and animals, a life far removed from Jane's past existence. Their tranquil idyll is shattered by Holt's arrival and his trunk full of the trappings from the civilized world, including exquisite clothes and exotic perfumes. Despite the allure of these materialistic temptations, Jane remains steadfast, her loyalty lying with Tarzan and their verdant home. As the jungle teems with peril around every corner, Tarzan proves to be their fierce protector, wrestling with the wild's most formidable beasts to safeguard his beloved Jane and the intrusive expedition. However, when Tarzan, in an attempt to prevent the expedition from desecrating the sacred elephant burial grounds, is shot by Arlington's gun, his disappearance swings the fate of Jane and the entire expedition into uncertainty. Believing her protector to be dead, Jane faces the heart-wrenching possibility of leaving her treasured jungle home. Meanwhile, the expedition, now vulnerable, falls prey to the jungle's violent natives. As tension mounts, the question lingers: Will Tarzan, nursed back to health by his apelike brethren, emerge in time to rescue Jane and the expedition from their impending doom? The thrilling saga of Tarzan and His Mate unfolds, testing the bounds of love, loyalty, and survival amidst the unchartered depths of Africa's wild heart.
