Plot
In Rio de Janeiro, Blu is smuggled to the U.S. The truck carrying Blu accidentally drops the box he is in, making him end up in Minnesota. He lives 15 comfortable years with Linda, a kind bookshop owner, but does not fly. One day, a customer from Brazil happens to visit the shop, and tells Linda that she has a female blue macaw in Rio de Janeiro. She invites Blu to come back with her in an effort to save the species. After a long trip, he gets put in a cage in a lab, but then tragedy strikes.
