Yet behind Lilly's altruistic endeavours, a personal mission simmers - the longing to reconnect with the man she loves, an idealistic doctor (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). As Lilly becomes the pulse of her disenfranchised community, her friend Amira uncovers that Lilly's quest isn't solely selfless. An intricate web of past passions unravels, revealing a lost love affair between Lilly and Aziz, stirring both hearts and nations.
