Plot

In the heart of Atlanta's bustling cosmetic industry, Amanda Lin, an ambitious product developer for Winsome Cosmetics, finds herself stifled by the company's preference for traditional ideas over her innovative visions. Needing a break from the corporate world, Amanda seizes the opportunity to visit her widowed Aunt Carol's peaceful pecan farm in Pecan Hill, Georgia, her childhood sanctuary. Under the pretense of needing help due to a sprained wrist, Aunt Carol lures Amanda back to her roots, only to reveal her intention to sell the scenic farm to be nearer to her coastal-based boyfriend. The news strikes a melancholic chord within Amanda, the farm being her last emotional tie to her hometown since her parents relocated. The situation takes a contentious turn when Amanda discovers Aunt Carol's choice of real estate broker - J.P. Milligan, her high school love, who returned to Pecan Hill following the end of his baseball career, and with whom she shares a turbulent past. As the farm's fate hangs in the balance, Amanda and J.P. find themselves at odds, both deeply invested in ensuring the farm's legacy as a working family farm rather than a commercial property development. As they navigate the choppy waters of their past and their shared passion for the farm, Amanda and J.P. might find that the embers of their old romance are not entirely extinguished. However, their potential second chance at love may hinge on the final outcome of the farm's sale, and their respective commitments in their professional lives.
