In the heart of Spain's untamed wilderness, a quartet of spirited young Americans eagerly embark on a European adventure, signing on as counsellors for a secluded summer camp. Their anticipation, as bright as the summer sun, quickly turns to dread as they confront a threat far more dangerous than homesickness or campfire stories. An unseen menace lurks in the water, a demonic, rage-inducing disease that transforms its victims into merciless killers. With the arrival of the children still on the horizon, the would-be counselors find themselves in a desperate fight for survival. As the disease spreads alarmingly from animal to human, their idyllic summer retreat becomes a claustrophobic nightmare. Stranded in the wilderness, devoid of phone service or cars, they grapple with the escalating terror around them. But the wilderness is not as deserted as it seems. Unbeknownst to them, they're being observed, adding another layer of sinister mystery to their plight. As the disease relentlessly consumes the camp, the young Americans must marshal their wits and courage, striving against all odds to evade the illness, unravel the mystery, and survive their unexpected summer of horror.
