Sully (2016)

Sully is a fictionalized version of the true story of Captain Sully Sullenberger, the heroic captain of US Airways Flight 1549. The events of the flight are shown: The plane has a bird strike, causing both engines to fail, and has to make an emergency crash landing in the Hudson River. THe film shows Sullenberger as traumatized by the aftermath, haunted by the press, and being forced to fight off a National Transportation and Safety Board that did not believe his version of what took place onboard the plane.
