In the secluded splendor of rural America, the wealthy and elderly Mrs. Perch hosts her annual, grandiose garden party at her lavish country villa. This year, however, a sinister twist lies beneath the glittering festivities. The illegally imported plant fertilizer that Mrs. Perch uses seeps into the ground, creating a toxic cocktail of potent growth hormones. This hazardous mix triggers a grotesque metamorphosis in a local species of wasps, usually benign insects turned into monstrous, seven-foot predators. The unsuspecting elite, gathered for celebrations, become the ideal prey for these mutated marauders. Amidst the chaos and carnage, stand Paul and Julia, the unassuming heroes of our tale. They are two humble catering staffers, tending to the high-class guests and nursing a budding romance. When the monstrous wasps launch their deadly assault, it falls upon Paul and Julia to rise above the terror, fight for survival, and protect the remaining guests. As they battle the insectoid menace, they must also navigate the turbulent waters of their own burgeoning love. Will they succeed in squashing the bugs and kindling their romance amidst the pandemonium? The survival of the party, their lives, and their love story hang in the balance in the thrilling narrative of 'Stung'.
