Stronger (2017)

Jeff Bauman was an ordinary man simply trying to get by as best he could. He kept busy between taking care of his aging mother and working the deli counter at a local superstore, but he finally decides to make a commitment when he comes across an ex-girlfriend, Erin. He commits to meeting her at the Boston Marathon Race but races to get there. And while he makes it in time, he finds himself caught in the bombing. When he wakes in the hospital, he'll have to come to grips with the fact that he's now missing both of his legs.
