In the gritty underbelly of urban existence, Rick, an assertive, street-smart hustler, finds himself wearied by the ceaseless cycle of fleeting encounters and aimless wheeling-dealing. Devoid of conventional familial ties, he grapples with the emotional scars left by an absentee father, making him one of the "strays" of society. His life is a tightly controlled fortress, designed to fend off dependency, his vulnerabilities concealed beneath a hardened shell of indifference.
However, his world is about to take an unexpected turn. When Rick crosses paths with Heather, an embodiment of the wholesome "girl-next-door", he glimpses a novel pathway towards a committed, meaningful relationship.
