Plot

After grabbing an uncle's guitar as a teenager, the young Gordon Sumner joined the band The Police in 1976. The fame will hit hard and their hits will lift him to the top. In 1984, as Sting, he took his freedom to lead a flourishing solo career. Since then, this accomplished musician and literary enthusiast has gracefully ventured into different musical universes and has never stopped following his intuition, while showing himself to be attentive to others and the world. In an exclusive interview with the artist, Julie Veille revisits the extraordinary career of an inspired, sensitive and committed man, who uses his art to express his intimate thoughts and to fight the battles that are close to his heart. The confidences of those close to him and archival footage retrace a life of encounters and musical innovations.
