Plot

In the eerie underbelly of the gaming world, Loomis Crowley stumbles upon an enigmatic video game, "Stay Alive," alongside his friends, Sarah and Rex. Their thrill quickly morphs into dread as they discover an unsettling similarity between their in-game deaths and their real-life demise. The sinister shadow that haunted them in the virtual world seeps into their reality, leaving Rex and Sarah lifeless and Loomis hanging by the banister, eerily mirroring his digital death. The ominous game then falls into the hands of Loomis's sister, Emma, who entrusts it to Hutch, Loomis's best friend. Ignorant of the game's blood-chilling curse, Hutch and his friends - Miller, Phineus, October, Swink, and Abigail - dive headfirst into the game's gothic horror. However, they soon find themselves ensnared in the same deadly pattern as they begin dying in reality, mirroring their in-game fatalities. As their numbers dwindle, the survivors unravel the game's horrifying secret. "Stay Alive" is a grotesque retelling of the life of the infamous Countess Elizabeth Bathory, a 17th-century noblewoman renowned for her bloodlust. Buried alive within the confines of her estate at the Geronge Plantation, the malevolent Countess's spirit fuels the game's terror. With the grim shadow of the police looming over them and October's untimely death, the remaining players embark on a desperate quest. They must journey to the heart of the Countess's resting place, hoping to destroy her corpse and put an end to the deadly game. The chilling reality they face is clear - defeat the Blood Countess within the haunted pixelated world of "Stay Alive" or succumb to the same fate as their fallen friends.
