The Grand Budapest Hotel tells the story of M. Gustave, who is a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel. Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy, becomes his best friend and trusted confidante. When a priceless Renaissance painting is stolen, the two work together to recover it while also battling for an enormous daily fortune. On top of it all, the two experience the dramatically changing European continent between the first and second World Wars.
