In the heart of bustling Hamilton thrives Minnie Barr's flourishing weight-loss empire, a beacon of hope to those battling the bulge. However, a singular worry gnaws at her triumph - her own daughter, Judy, is battling obesity. A stone's throw away, within the humble confines of a church shadowed by steel mills, a rotund altar girl stumbles upon a miraculous secret; lighting a dollar candle in front of a newly arrived statue helps her shed a pound.
This revelation sparks a frenzy, drawing women from all walks of life to the church, including the overweight Judy. In no time, the statue, christened St. Roz, basks in global fame, and Judy revels in her transformed figure. However, this miracle threatens to shatter Minnie's empire and the entire forty billion dollar weight-loss industry.
Powerful, unseen forces conspire to obliterate the statue from existence. But, in a twist of fate, two gentle saviours rise to St. Roz's defense. Amidst this turmoil of faith, commerce, and personal transformation, viewers are left to wonder - Will the divine statue survive, or will the weight-loss industry triumph?
