Soul (2020)

Joe Gardner, a middle school music teacher with a passion for jazz, thinks he has finally peaked after getting to play his dream venue: the Half Note Jazz Club. After an accident, his soul gets separated from his body and he gets sent to the Great Unknown's You Seminar, where souls go before they are attached to bodies. Paired up with reluctant soul-in-training, 22, Joe realizes that the only way to get back to Earth is if he helps her. Along the way, he learns more about himself and what life is really about, with some music thrown in.

Soul is an animation movie featuring John Ratzenberger and directed by Pete Docter.
