In the sprawling shanty town of 'Toma Modelo de Peñalolen', the largest in Chile, dwell three teenage girls - Avi, Cindy, and Estefany. These girls, mere 13 years old, are bound by a shared fixation: a view of the affluent suburb that looms over their makeshift homes. Their lives, steeped in poverty and hardship, and their minds, moulded by glossy magazines, television ads and the dazzling opulence that surrounds them, yearn for the same luxury. Together, they form a band, adept at minor thefts, their desire for a better life fueling their audacious exploits. Avi, the blonde leader of the trio, concocts an audacious plan. They infiltrate a residential building under the guise of visiting Avi's fictitious uncle, then ascend to prosperity via the fire escape, breaking into a sumptuous flat. Their daring heists become the talk of the town, earning them the media moniker - the "Spider Girls".
