Lady Bird (2017)

Christine, who calls herself "Lady Bird," is a senior in her final year of high school in Sacramento in the early 2000s, and she longs for a different life than the one she has. She desperately wants to go far from home for college, but her family is not wealthy and her mother wants her to stay close by. Over the course of the year, Lady Bird will test her independence and begin finding her own identity.
