Six Black Horses (1962)

In the heart of Indian territory, Audie and Dan Duryea are drawn into a tantalizing web of deceit by a mysterious woman who employs them to escort her to her estranged husband. As they traverse the perilous wilderness, she dangles a tempting offer before Audie - the promise of his comrade's share of the payment, if he consents to her murderous plot against Duryea, the man who extinguished her husband's life. Audie, a man with dreams of owning a ranch, is tempted by the lucrative proposition. Yet, the bonds of friendship prove stronger than his desire for wealth. However, the journey takes a deadly turn when Duryea, consumed by greed, forces a fatal showdown. In a twist of fate, Audie is compelled to pull the trigger on his friend to survive the impending doom that threatens to annihilate them all.
