Plot

In the heart of chic Chelsea, London, resides Catherine St. John-Burke, a fiercely independent Brit with a penchant for sophistication and status. Her life, however, is far from perfect, tainted by an illicit affair with a married man. Her meticulously arranged world spirals into chaos when she discovers an unsophisticated Kiwi woman, complete with unshaven legs and a preference for beer, lounging in her living room. This intruder, Shirley Zachary, claims to be Catherine's long-lost half-sister, insisting their presumed-dead father is alive and staking a claim on their inherited properties following the death of their mothers. Reeling from the audacity of Shirley's claims, Catherine grudgingly agrees to a DNA test, only to face the shocking reality that they are indeed kin. Swallowing their pride, the mismatched sisters embark on a mission to track down their elusive father, a slippery relic from the 70s with a knack for conning, to reclaim their rightful inheritance. As they navigate through a cloak-and-dagger chase for their '70s-stuck' father, they must also dodge the omnipresent local mob. Their only lead? A dubious character named 'Sir Crawford', setting the stage for a series of uproarious misadventures!
