Léon: The Professional (1994)

A little girl's innocence is shattered when her entire family is murdered. The girl, Mathilda, is smart enough to flee to the apartment of a professional hitman, Leon, and beg him to protect her. The last thing Leon needs is a little girl complicating his life. However, he soon realizes that Mathilda is wise beyond her years, having absorbed many lessons from her father's criminal underpinnings. Leon's almost willing to seek out a new life, one that's more appropriate for the little girl who fate dropped on his doorstep, but the vengeful Mathilda would rather become Leon's apprentice.
