In the vibrant heart of Punjab, nestled within a quaint village, resides the perpetually good-natured Happy Singh. Despite his sincere intentions, Happy's actions often culminate in comical chaos, much to the chagrin of his fellow villagers. When word reaches the village that one of their own, Lakhanpal Singh, has risen to power as an underworld don in far-off Australia, the community makes a peculiar decision. They select Happy, the village's lovable misfit, to journey to Australia and reform Lakhanpal, hoping that this will rid them of Happy's calamitous deeds. Accompanied by the reluctant Rangeela, Happy embarks on his quest. However, a twist of fate lands them in Egypt instead of Australia. Here, Happy crosses paths with Sonia, a passionate criminologist with a penchant for punishment over reform, sparking an unexpected romance. Despite detours and diversions, the two friends eventually find their way to Australia and locate Lakhanpal. Their encounter with Lakhanpal is far from successful. He dismisses them, leaving Happy and Rangeela to find shelter with a kind-hearted boutique owner. However, when rivals attack Lakhanpal, Happy steps in, saving his life but leaving him paralyzed. A humorous misunderstanding amongst Lakhanpal's men results in Happy assuming the role of the new Don, transitioning him from a simple villager to a wealthy mansion-dwelling mob boss. Happy's world takes another surprising turn when Sonia, now revealed as the boutique owner's daughter, arrives home with her fiancé, Punit. Aware of Sonia's disdain for criminals, Happy must execute a charade to make her believe the mansion is hers, all while planning a grand wedding. Amidst the joy and celebration, rival gangsters and even Lakhanpal's own men concoct plans to oust Happy, turning his new life of luxury into a perilous tightrope walk between love and danger.
