Plot

Navigating the tumultuous terrain of her life is Erica Strange, a young woman embroiled in a series of self-destructive decisions. Her unlikely savior and confounding adversary, Dr. Tom, is a "therapist" with an uncanny affinity for historical quotes, both obscure and renowned. In a bid to unravel her tangled existence, Erica furnishes Dr. Tom with a detailed catalogue of the critical junctures that, in her belief, have propelled her into the current state of disarray. Unbeknownst to Erica, Dr. Tom has a transformative plan for this list. He propels her on a time-travelling journey back to each of these significant instances, empowering her with the wisdom of her present life to reshape her past choices. Dr. Tom's ultimate aspiration, however, is not merely about altering past decisions. He yearns for Erica to glean a profound understanding: while the world's perception of her life carries weight, it's her own perspective on her decisions and existence that truly counts. "Being Erica" is a captivating exploration of regret, self-discovery, and the power of perspective, where the past is not just a memory, but a playground for second chances.
