In the heart of a perilous military rescue mission in Iraq, Max Forrester's comrade and love, Sasha, vanishes without a trace. Fast forward two years, Max, now a retired soldier, is shockingly informed by his erstwhile commander, Captain Dyer, about Sasha's survival. She's reportedly on Paradise Island, a name as deceptive as the situation itself. The army stands ready to label Sasha a traitor and deserter, leaving Max with no choice but to launch his own rescue mission.
