Eragon (2006)

A young boy named Eragon stumbles upon a beautiful stone near his farm. The stone hatches into a dragon, and the Eragon becomes a dragonrider. Slowly, he realizes that the egg was sent to him by Princess Arya in hopes that Eragon was the prophesied chosen one capable of defeating King Galbatorix. Can an orphaned boy and the last dragon defeat the evil tyrant?
