Plot
Shabri, a woman bound by the chains of poverty, is the sole beacon of hope in her family, comprised of a younger brother, Bandya, an alcoholic father, and a worn-out mother. Her life is a constant struggle against the harsh realities of their impoverished existence, her bitterness towards life growing with each passing day. Finding solace in chastising Bandya for his street escapades with a local goon, Murad, and their father for his alcoholism, she fights to keep her family afloat.
However, her world crumbles when Bandya falls into the clutches of the corrupt and menacing Inspector Khare. Subjected to unbearable torture in the police station, Bandya meets a tragic end, allegedly while attempting to flee custody. A distraught Shabri refuses to accept this twisted tale spun by the authorities. Fueled by a burning desire for justice, she confronts Khare, resulting in his untimely death by his service revolver.
Now a fugitive, Shabri's life turns into a relentless manhunt stretching from Vikhroli's gritty streets to the labyrinthine lanes of Bhendi Bazar. In a desperate bid to hide, she seeks the aid of Murad. The pressure, however, proves too much for Murad, and he draws the attention of Kisnya Bhau, the notorious brother of the feared gangster, Rajdharbhau.
This move plunges Shabri and her parents deeper into the abyss of danger, adding another twist in the tale of a woman's fierce battle against a world marred by corruption and injustice.
