Plot

In the gritty, hard-hitting drama of Semper Fi, we follow the life of Cal (Courtney) - a stalwart, honor-bound police officer who doubles as a Marine Corps reservist. Alongside him is a band of boisterous childhood friends, inseparable in their camaraderie and shared service. However, Cal's world is thrown into chaos when his impulsive younger half-brother, Oyster (Wolff), spirals out of control, inadvertently causing a man's death in a bar brawl and attempting to evade the consequences. Bound by a deep sense of duty and familial loyalty, Cal refuses to let Oyster run. Instead, he pushes him to face the harsh reality of his actions. Tragically, Oyster is handed a harsh sentence and thrust into the brutal confines of a Pennsylvania prison system, where survival becomes a daily struggle. Meanwhile, Cal and his comrades find themselves deployed to the lethal battlegrounds of Iraq, confronting the grim face of war and insurgency. As his world is violently shaken overseas, Cal barely escapes with his life, returning home with a newfound resolve. Haunted by Oyster's unjust fate and driven by an unwavering code of honor, Cal embarks on a perilous mission to liberate his brother from prison – regardless of the personal cost. Semper Fi is a gripping saga of brotherhood, sacrifice, and the lengths one man will go to uphold justice. This tale of fierce loyalty and relentless courage will keep you on the edge of your seat, questioning the boundaries of duty and the power of familial bonds.
