In the wake of her tumultuous divorce, Connie (Sheena Peña) seeks solace in the sun-soaked beaches of Hawaii, a fresh start for her and her daughter, with the comfort of her sister's proximity. Taking on a job at a local hotel, Connie is drawn into a secret life as Veronica, a high-end escort to sustain the lavish lifestyle she and her daughter are accustomed to, a consequence of the hefty divorce and custody battle. Connie's double life remains a well-guarded secret, a liberating escape from her otherwise buttoned-up existence, a life she finds oddly exhilarating. However, this precarious balance of identities is shattered when her daughter disappears.
