Plot

In the heart of Bombay resides Subhash Nagre, a man of wealth and influence, the master of a grand mansion where he resides with his family. His household buzzes with joy as his younger son, Shankar, returns from the United States, accompanied by the ravishing Pooja, his future bride. Subhash, while fond of both his sons, is openly critical of his elder son, Vishnu, whose immature antics and scandalous affair with Bollywood starlet Sapna leave much to be desired. The household's equilibrium shatters when Vishnu, in a fit of rage, publicly assassinates a Bollywood actor courting Sapna. Subhash, unable to tolerate his son's recklessness, banishes him from their home, only to see Vishnu apprehended and charged with murder. However, even darker clouds loom over the Nagre family when a prominent politician, Motilal Khurana, is assassinated and Subhash is named as the orchestrator. Subhash finds himself behind bars, not only for the alleged murder, but for wielding an unchecked power that challenges the law, the wrathful hand of justice when the system fails. Imprisoned and helpless, Subhash grapples with the harsh reality of his waning influence, as allies shy away and his once powerful empire crumbles. His world comes crashing down when Shankar is mysteriously kidnapped, and the mastermind behind his son's peril is revealed to be his own flesh and blood - the exiled Vishnu. The movie Sarkar is a compelling exploration of power, family, and the haunting consequences of unchecked ambition. Watch as Subhash's world spirals out of control, and the man once revered as a Godfather is left to confront the chilling echoes of his past actions.
