Santa Switch (2013)

As the festive season looms, Dan Ryebeck (Ethan Erickson) is grappling with looming unemployment and the challenge of sourcing gifts to dazzle his two children, Sally (Annie Thurman) and Joe (Griffin Cleveland). Always preoccupied with his latest entrepreneurial venture, he's neglected his family, pushing his wife Linda (Anne Dudek) to the brink of divorce. Competing with Linda's accomplished and charming boss, Trevor, Dan is determined to make this Christmas unforgettable to win back his family's hearts. However, a disastrous attempt at securing a job as a mall Santa leaves Dan penniless and resentful towards the holiday season. Unbeknownst to him, a magical twist of fate is on the horizon as the genuine Kris Kringle (Donovan Scott) drops in from the snowy realms of the North Pole. Kris decides to swap places with Dan, leaving him in charge of Christmas while he takes a well-deserved break. To aid Dan in his monumental task, Kris assigns his diligent elf assistant Eddie (Sean Astin) to guide Dan in his new role as Santa Claus, hoping to instill in him the true essence of Christmas spirit. Suddenly bestowed with the power to make any extravagant Christmas wish come true, Dan is tempted and goes overboard, attempting to impress Linda and the kids. However, the responsibility of the world's Christmas joy now rests on his shoulders. Will Dan be able to prioritize what his family truly needs and pull off his most important role to date without a hitch?
