Sand Castle (2017)

A soldier enlists in the military never expecting to have to fight in a war, only to have the 9/11 terror attacks happen shortly thereafter. Based on a true story, Private Matt Ocre arrives in Iraq shortly after Baghdad was first occupied. And while he may have missed the initial violence, there's still plenty of danger within the city's streets and the surrounding areas. But violence isn't the only threat in this landscape. Ocre's platoon is sent to a village that doesn't have access to healthy water. And he soon learns that the logistics of offering something so basic in a country gripped by war and poverty can be prolifically challenging.
