Ruby Sparks (2012)

Calvin may be a brilliant novelist, but he's found himself overcome by writer's block after his debut. He's trying to break free of his anxiety with the help of a therapist but finds little success and continues to suffer from the aftermath of a breakup. When Calvin begins writing about his dream girl, he finds some semblance of that inspiration awakening again. But when that imaginary dream girl comes to life, it initially seems like perfection. But Calvin will have to ask himself whether a relationship without agency is really love and find a way to let Ruby Sparks have a life distinct from his own.
