Plot

Perched atop a damp, craggy hill, two boulders, one a massive moss-covered monolith and the other a small, playful stone, sit in languid observation of the relentless march of time across their rocky valley. Ancient and enduring, they are the silent sentinels of this rugged terrain, to whom time appears frozen, while the fleeting human existence is but a grain of sand in the cosmic hourglass. These stony friends, Hew and Kew, have eternally gazed upon the cycles of life, their ageless eyes glittering with wisdom. Unfazed by the bustling commotion in the valley below, they grapple with their own unique quandaries. Yet, the rise and fall of human civilization, marked by the transformative power of technology, starts to ripple across their tranquil existence. As mankind stumbles from simple existence into the realm of discovery and invention, the once serene peacefulness of Hew and Kew comes under threat. From their lofty perch, they bear witness to the evolution of the world, as the planet quivers under the tremendous impact of human progress. The question that lingers in the cool mountain air is whether this surge of change truly signifies evolution or masks a threat to the eternal tranquility of these observers of time. "Rocks" is a stirring exploration of time, existence, and the implications of human progress, viewed from the perspective of beings as timeless and steadfast as the rocks themselves.
