In the ensuing chaos, Jake faces a revelation that threatens to shatter his world - the enemy soldier he tussles with is none other than Lyra, his thought-to-be-dead sister. A sister now raised as a weapon, a soldier conditioned to destroy her own blood. Returning to the Colony with this shocking truth, Jake finds himself alone in his belief, his words dismissed as fantasy.
