Rain (2008)

Caught in the relentless pitter-patter of Buenos Aires' rain, Alma finds herself trapped in the city's traffic, her compact car serving as her sole refuge since her recent heartbreak. Unexpectedly, her solitary sanctuary is interrupted by Roberto, a weary figure, drenched and injured by the downpour of life's disappointments, returning after thirty years of self-imposed exile. With no ties to the city except for a comatose father he barely knows, Roberto seeks shelter in Alma's car until the rain subsides. Intrigued yet uncertain, Alma opens her doors to this stranger. As their shared night unfolds, an unexpected connection begins to form, their hearts echoing with unfamiliar rhythms. The following days, marked by the incessant rain, unfold with a newfound resonance, as both Alma and Roberto dare to delve into the uncharted depths of their hearts, seeking solace and perhaps, redemption.
