Quigley (2003)

Archie Channing, a wealthy man and notorious practical joker, finds himself at the precipice of a life-altering revelation, armed with a CD-ROM that threatens to upheave the lives of his loyal manager, Dexter, and his entire workforce. However, his plans are abruptly thwarted when a fatal accident sends him to the brink of the celestial afterlife. Instead of ascending to the serenity of heaven, Archie faces a divine intervention. The ethereal powers decide to send him back to earth to rectify the chaos he left behind. Adding a humorous twist to his punishment, he is reincarnated as a fluffy white Pomeranian known as Quigley, much to his chagrin given his profound distaste for animals, particularly dogs. Guiding him through this unique journey is Sweeney, an "observing" guardian angel, the sole individual who sees Archie in his true form while others see the lovable Quigley. Archie, now Quigley, is tasked with two crucial missions. The first is to retrieve and annihilate the potentially damaging CD-ROM before it can wreak havoc. The second is to mend the estranged relationship with his brother, Woodward, and assist him in fulfilling his aspirations of becoming a successful video game designer. Caught in the whirlwind of his new canine existence, Quigley finds himself racing against time, juggling his dual responsibilities. As he embarks on this unexpected journey, he discovers that reality is often cloaked in mystery, and things are not always as they appear. The road to redemption is littered with challenges, but for Archie, it's also sprinkled with dog-doo.
