Balto (1995)

This film is about the true story of an outcast dog, Balto, and his journey to get the medicine to save the children of Nome, Alaska from diphtheria in 1925. He is half-husky and half-wolf and not considered suitable as a sled dog. A team of huskies is sent to get the medicine, but they get lost. Along with the only friends he has, two polar bears, a goose and Jenna, a pure-bred husky, Balto takes off to find the lost dogs and retrieve the medicine. It’s a harrowing journey with many challenges along the way. Will Balto be able to save the children in time?
