Pukar (2000)

Major Jaidev Rajvansh, a valiant Indian army officer, undertakes a daring mission to rescue a prominent politician, simultaneously capturing the notorious terrorist Abhrush who had been on the nation's most-wanted list for years. Celebrated as a national hero after his triumphant return, Jai decides to take a well-deserved break, retreating to the comfort of his hometown. There, he rekindles his friendship with Anjali, a childhood friend whose love for Jai has been a lifelong secret. As Jai's parents plan his matrimonial future with Anjali, he encounters the enchanting Miss India, Pooja Mallapa, at a grand party.
