Plot

In "Poison," a triptych of tales unfurls, each one a provocative exploration of the margins of society, the enigma of human sexuality, and the undulating waves of violence. The narratives, though disparate, are intricately interwoven, creating a cinematic tapestry that's vividly hued with aspects of the surreal and the horrific. The first tale, "Hero," is painted in garish, technicolor strokes, recounting how Richie, a mere boy of seven, commits an act so shockingly violent - the murder of his own father - that it propels him out of the window and into the open sky. A subsequent pseudo-documentary investigation probes into Richie's life, attempting to trace the twisted roots of this tragic event. The second tale, "Horror," weaves a chilling black and white tableau. A daring scientist, in his quest to distill the essence of human sexuality, unwittingly drinks his own concoction, transforming into a festering, infectious murderer. One woman, bound to him by love, undertakes a perilous attempt to help him, but whether she can save him - or herself - remains shrouded in mystery. Finally, in "Homo," we are plunged into the dimly lit world of Fontenal prison, where the past and present converge with searing intensity. One prisoner finds himself inexorably drawn to a fellow inmate, a man from his past at Baton juvenile institute, whose humiliations he had once helplessly witnessed. The story unfolds in murky shadows, punctuated by the sharp glare of flashbacks. "Poison" is an unflinching exploration of the human condition, a cinematic journey that traverses the darker corners of desire, fear, and violence, challenging the viewer to confront the unsettling depths of their own understanding.
