Plot

Acclaimed illusionist David Katz brings his spellbinding troupe to Denver, with the noble goal of performing at a charity gala for disadvantaged children. Among the dedicated supporters of the cause are Perry and Della, lending their presence to the event. The enigmatic allure of the evening is heightened when Kate Ford, an assistant with an audacious demeanor, announces her intent to perform a dazzling illusion: a disappearance act from a levitating glass coffin. However, Kate's brash assertiveness masks a scandalous secret. After a fleeting night of passion with David, she finds herself with child - a revelation she uses as a weapon of blackmail against him. This news hits David and his barren wife, Judy, like a punch to the gut, further escalating tensions within the group. At the grand gala, the much-awaited glass coffin illusion takes a chilling turn. The coffin ascends as planned, only for the audience to gasp in horror when it opens to reveal Kate's lifeless body plummeting to the stage - a victim of strangulation. As Perry and Della embark on a quest to unmask the murderer, their allies Ken and PI Terry Weidner delve into the enigmatic life of Kate. Their investigation leads them to her hometown, where they are met with a wall of silence, as if Kate was a ghost even before her untimely demise. The movie unfolds as a maze of mysteries where every revelation brings them closer to the truth hidden behind the glass coffin.
