In the bustling city of Mumbai, Madhavi carves out a career as a newspaper journalist, her beat being the glitz and glamour of Page 3. Her role plunges her into the superficial world of socialites and minor celebrities, where her task is to report on their lavish parties. She shares her life with two roommates - Pearl, a flight attendant yearning for a wealthy husband and a comfortable life, and Gayatri, an actress struggling to make her mark in the industry. Gayatri's life takes a tragic turn when she is betrayed by renowned but married actor, Rohit Kumar, who leaves her pregnant and alone. On his advice, she considers abortion but a failed suicide attempt, intervened by Madhavi and Pearl, results in her losing the baby. Shattered, Gayatri abandons the city's false promises. Meanwhile, Madhavi grows weary of her job's shallow nature. She yearns for a more meaningful journalistic contribution and finds herself reassigned to the Crime beat, working alongside seasoned reporter Vinayak Mane. This shift in roles offers her a stark contrast to the superficiality of Page 3, opening her eyes to the harsh realities of life beyond the glitter and glamour.
