Out of Season (2004)

In the off-season of a coastal amusement park, Pierre, a seasonal employee, finds himself out of luck and out of money when his life savings are cunningly stolen by the sly Simeon Guant, an acquaintance of his girlfriend, Kelly Phillips. Kelly, however, isn't just any woman; she's the daughter of the park's proprietor, Michael Phillips, whose wife, Eileen Phillips, is entangled in a clandestine affair with the very same Simeon. Together, Eileen and Simeon conspire to orchestrate Michael's demise under the guise of a robbery to cash in on his life insurance. In the face of his financial ruin, Pierre finds an unlikely ally in Harry Barlow, the owner of a local bar and a former thief, who takes him under his wing, coaching him in the art of burglary. As the lives of these six characters converge, they find themselves ensnared in a web of deceit, betrayal, and crime with no promise of a fairy-tale ending.
