The Gentlemen (2020)

American expatriate Mickey Pearson runs a successful cannabis business in England. Not long after Mickey announces his retirement, one of his locations is ransacked and his wife Rosalind is threatened. A host of unsavory characters come out of the woodwork trying to get a piece of Mickey's operation. Private investigator Fletcher knows that there's more going on than meets the eye. He summarizes the events in a screenplay and tries to get Mickey's associate Raymond to buy it.
