Tre, Doughboy, and Ricky are best friends growing up on the tough streets of Crenshaw. Doughboy and Tre are content living in the 'hood. But, Ricky has hopes of getting out. His best chance is a football scholarship. Ricky plays by the rules and does everything he needs to follow his dream. However, growing up in Crenshaw has taught the friends that violence can change any of their lives at a moment's notice.
