Plot

Caught in the relentless clutches of a sudden rainstorm, a band of wayward hikers stumbles upon an ancient cave that promises shelter from the battering elements. Within the mysterious cavern, they encounter an unexpected companion: an archaeologist, engrossed in the prehistoric paintings that adorn the cave's walls. Intrigued, the hikers huddle around, becoming an impromptu audience as the archaeologist starts to weave a tale from the threads of history he has deciphered from the paintings. The story revolves around Tumak, a young caveman, the progeny of the chief of the primitive and ruthless Rock Tribe. His life takes a turn when he is banished from his tribe, forcing him to embark on a solitary journey through the savage prehistoric world. Fate leads him to the peaceful shores of the Shell Tribe, where he encounters the enchanting Loana, the chieftain's daughter. Loana, with her aura of serenity, draws Tumak into the fold of her tribe and educates him in the art of civility. However, Tumak's fiery temperament sparks a conflict, forcing him to leave the safety of the Shell Tribe. Undeterred, Loana accompanies him back to the volatile realm of the Rock Tribe, where she strives to enlighten them about the virtues of peace and compassion. Their arduous journey towards unity is fraught with adversities, culminating in a cataclysmic volcanic eruption. The narrative of this prehistoric saga, as interpreted from the cave paintings, is a testament to human resilience and the transformative power of civilization against the raw brutality of nature. It's an epic tale of survival, love, and the eventual fusion of two tribes, as the hikers listen, captivated by the echoes of a time one million years B.C.
