One False Move (1992)

In the underbelly of Los Angeles, a brutal drug heist shakes the city, leaving a trail of blood and chaos in its wake. Our three unlikely anti-heroes - the intellectually gifted yet ruthlessly cruel Lenny "Pluto" Franklyn; his less sophisticated but loyal sidekick from San Quentin, Ray Malcolm; and their captivating accomplice, Fantasia - emerge from the wreckage, their identities exposed to the relentless LAPD. As the trio flees towards the rural refuge of Star City, Arkansas, the plot thickens and the chase intensifies. On their tail, LAPD detectives Dud Cole and John McFeely, accustomed to the city's dark corners, now find themselves in unfamiliar territory, wrestling with the unfamiliarity of small-town life.
