Battle: Los Angeles (2011)

In this action movie, evil aliens arrive on earth in the form of meteors and appear bent on the destruction of the world's major cities. This includes Los Angeles, which is under heavy attack from the alien forces. The military fights back against this invasion and the film features the efforts of members of the military as they attempt to evacuate large swaths of Los Angeles before an air force bombing levels large sections of the city. While on this rescue mission, the soldiers fight back against the aliens and discover a secret to pushing back against their efforts.
