Obsession (2019)

Drifting aimlessly through a life of uncertainty, Sonny Jordan (Mekhi Pfeiffer) finds himself caught in a maelstrom of fate when he saves the life of a stranger, George Good (Brad Dourif), from a violent back-alley assailant. Grateful, George offers Sonny sanctuary and employment on his bucolic farm, nestled in the haunting Louisiana Bayou. As Sonny adapts to his new surroundings, he becomes an indispensable part of the seemingly idyllic farm life. However, tranquility gives way to temptation when Sonny crosses paths with Larissa (Elika Portnoy), George's enigmatic wife. In her, he finds an alluring siren with a past shrouded in mystery, and the two are drawn together in an irresistible dance of attraction. Their passion ignites a dangerous plot to extinguish George's life in chilling bloodshed, allowing them to indulge in their forbidden love without restraint. As their sinister plan spirals out of control, they are forced to confront the lengths they are willing to traverse to bury their transgressions. The once peaceful bayou becomes a stage for their dark obsession, painting a twisted tableau of love, betrayal, and deadly determination.
