The Impossible (2012)

Henry, Maria and their three sons are a British family spending the Christmas holidays at a Thai beach resort when the devastating 2004 tsunami hits. The family is separated by the disaster, and they each must fight to keep hope alive, find one another and survive the aftermath of the terrible tragedy.
